Vine grower of Wire Father since the end of the XIXe century, the Doreau Field exploits a surface of 4 hectares and half of vines which extend from St-Romain with Pommard.
The wines result from noble type of vines:
- Pinot Noir for reds
- Chardonnay for whites
- Aligoté for whites
The Doreau Field produces authentic wines of soil. The method of culture is traditional and natural, without amendment of the grounds, nor weeding. Only a regular tilling is practised.
The grape harvest is carried out manually
The wine making is traditional. The grapes are picked off to 100% and ferment ten days. The breeding is 12 to 15 month out of barrels of oak. The wines are bottled after unification, joining and light filtration.
The production of the Doreau Field is sold through Europe to the private individuals, to traders and to importers.
